R. HOWELL (KS)
"These are the composite cover balls, not the leather cover. I use these for practice and love them. They're about $40/$45 per dozen as of Sep 2012 vs. about $60 or so for the leather covers. I have not had these long and have used them for 1/2 dozen practices or so at the time of this writing. I do think they will hold up well. In our last tournament, it had rained the night before and the morning of. Thus, in warm up these balls got extremely dirty and muddy. That night, I used water in a spray bottle and a "garage" towel and they cleaned up almost to the point of new. I was very happy about that. When we wear these balls out, I will buy again or, if funds allow, will buy the leather covers. " (E21084)
